In 10 years, I see Knoxville reducing poverty among minorities through better education and career opportunities. The city will be an entrepreneurial hub with a vibrant riverfront, making it a desirable place to live, work, and play.

Knoxville's best-kept secret is its beautiful nature trails and hikes at Ijams Nature Center and House Mountain. Too many locals overlook these gems and miss out on the incredible outdoor experiences they offer.

To strengthen Knoxville, I would aim to empower young Black men with leadership & career opportunities, promote entrepreneurship through education & access to capital, and enhance the riverfront area with recreational spaces.

Although I was at home, being with my family watching Tennessee beat Alabama in 2022 was incredible. The game itself and the celebrations to follow were electric. I think the joy from that 1 game carried through the air for weeks!
