What is your vision for Knoxville 10 years from now?

My vision is an equitable, flourishing Knoxville where all people have access to meaningful jobs, healthy food, and attainable housing. A place where neighbors pause, listen, build genuine relationships, and create a shared sense of belonging.

What is Knoxville's Best Kept Secret?

Ijams Nature Center is a beautiful urban wilderness just minutes from downtown, with miles of hiking trails, Mead's Quarry Lake for swimming and paddling, and river access. It's a peaceful place to slow down and enjoy Knoxville's natural beauty.

What would you do to strengthen Knoxville?

I would invest in education, from expanding access to high-quality early learning to strengthening resources and opportunities for every child in our public schools, including ensuring teachers are well compensated, equipped, and supported.

What is your favorite Knoxville memory?

What is your favorite book or what book is currently on your nightstand?

Daring Greatly by Brene Brown

What is the best advice you have received from a mentor, and who was that mentor?

Focus on the things that only you can uniquely do. Andy Chisel

What advice would you give to your 16 year old self?

Keep dreaming. Stay curious, be brave, and don't be afraid when the path looks different than you imagined. Some of the most important and meaningful parts of your life will grow from the hard and unexpected.
