What is your vision for Knoxville 10 years from now?

A vibrant community with multiple "live, work, play" communities driving innovation and growth. Knoxville and Oak Ridge continue to grow together as a collaborative collective community with greenways, waterways, and entertainment bringing people together for good.

What would you do to strengthen Knoxville?

Continue to grow the downtown entertainment scene and connect the old city and the ballpark to South Knoxville and UTK campus. Now I typically choose one of these areas at a time since I have to drive and park each place.

What is your favorite Knoxville memory?

July 4th concert and fireworks at World's Fair Park

What is your favorite book or what book is currently on your nightstand?

Favorite Book is "Screwtape Letters." Currently reading "How Paris became Paris" and "Checklist Manifesto."

What is the best advice you have received from a mentor, and who was that mentor?

"listen to people, not their degrees." Rusty Hallman

What advice would you give to your 16 year old self?

"You gotta do it, you might as well enjoy it."
