CURRENT CLASS

A municipality transformed by growth, outgrowing it's "scruffy" roots and matured into a more refined city. A city featuring more cultural amenities, an improved restaurant scene, more "civic furniture," and at least one new high quality museum (Children's Science Museum?). I would also like to see the Broadway/Central corridor develop along the lines fo Magazine St. in New Orleans.

The urban wilderness, especially Ijams, and general ease of getting around town. Also, hat tip to the recently renovated Eugenia Williams House.

Improve/widen roads to accommodate growth and continue to structure codes to allow for increased density throughout Knoxville, and especially at city center. Use these areas of increased density to build more urban pockets featuring more of the amenities mentioned above. I would also support development, generally, and especially in Mechanicsville.

Be more intentional with your time in college. Focus more on setting yourself up for long term success. Also, find a way to move to NYC for a year or two during your twenties.
