Ten years from now, I would like to see a denser population of residents in the downtown area, with more people walking the streets on an ordinary Monday or Tuesday - not just during festivals, football weekends, or special events.

It's impossible to keep a secret these days, but what people may not realize about Knoxville is how collaborative the creative and small business community is. Restaurants, makers, entrepreneurs, and local businesses genuinely want to see each other succeed because they understand that a stronger local economy benefits everyone. That willingness to support, connect, and collaborate is one of Knoxville's greatest strengths.
