Encourage more people to vote! Too many people don't realize how local decisions shape so many aspects of our daily lives. Informed and engaged voters are essential to building a stronger community.

It's hard to pick a favorite book overall, but my favorite so far this year is Heart the Lover by Lily King

"Don't expect everyone to be you," from my mother. A simple reminder that we all have unique perspectives, strengths, and motivations. Remembering this has deepened my patience and empathy.

Calm down! As a lifelong overachiever, I took almost everything too seriously. I wish I'd relaxed, enjoyed each phase of life, and better appreciated the experiences along the way rather than focusing on what came next.
