I hope it's the same great place that it is today! I would love to see downtown and the old city continue to develop while still maintaining the same charm it has today.

The Tennessee Theatre and The Bijou. We have so many great musicians who play these venues. I also love the south water front and Sevier Ave.

I think the homelessness issue downtown just continues to get worse. I would like to see more of a push to try to end chronic homelessness.

Two quotes that I love: "Some debts are so significant that you can't pay them back, you have to pay them forward." Winston Churchill and "We make a living by what we get. We make a life by what we give." -not sure who this was. My uncle, Bunny Oakes, also thought me about the 212 degree philosophy. At 211 degrees you simply have hot water. At 212 degrees, you have boiling water, which creates steam, which can move a locomotive. It's that extra degree of effort makes all the difference.
