Focus on improvements in East Knoxville (not just the cosmetic). They have real needs; for example, they need a grocery store in the East Knoxville low income area and improvements in South Knoxville. And of course, road improvement.

We have so many I can't narrow down to just one! Historically, the marble industry in Knoxville and the vast number of national monuments covered in Tennessee marble. And the Mabry- Hazen House. Opportunities for high-tech companies with Oak Ridge and UT. And the Knoxville Botanical Garden, our Knoxville Symphony, the Knoxville Opera and local theater.

Funding education, offering more affordable healthcare, and create a plan to keep the family in tact - breaking the cycle of addiction, domestic abuse, mental illness and homelessness, and an opportunity for affordable housing. We need to know our neighbors and what will improve their lives.

Kathleen Cooke, VP of Cooke Media encouraged me not to put limits on myself and continue trust God in the unknown. She encouraged me to write my short stories into one-minute words of encouragement and hope and get them on radio shows around the country. Next to turn my stories into small books.

Follow and trust God's plan for your life. When things look bleak, He has purpose in the hard places, so trust He's getting you ready for the next thing in His plan. It may look impossible, but let Him lead you and see what happens. And don't sweat the small stuff!
