Knoxville is a thriving and growing city, a jewel in Tennessee, with thriving schools, region-leading infrastructure, efficient and visionary governance, and a vibrant tech and entrepreneur culture.

What is Knoxville's Best Kept Secret?

Grabbing a pie from Pizzeria Nora and eating it on the Sharps Ridge overlook.

What would you do to strengthen Knoxville?

I would align the city government's priorities with the most pressing needs of citizens and a visionary plan for the next 10 years. I would boost support for young families in order to grow the number of families and children in our city.

What is your favorite Knoxville memory?

Sundown in the City, May 19, 2005, seeing Victor Wooten with Dishwater Blond on Market Square.

What is your favorite book or what book is currently on your nightstand?

Currently on the nightstand: Dominion by Tom Holland

What is the best advice you have received from a mentor, and who was that mentor?

What advice would you give to your 16 year old self?

You won't always have time in the future to repair a bad reputation - love and treat people accordingly.
