Our city's spaces - indoors and outdoors, become opportunities to bring people together. By embracing and activating all that Knoxville has to offer, we create a community where everyone can find something that inspires them, connects them to others, and makes them feel at home.

Use my influence, experience, and voice to champion positive change whenever I have the opportunity - especially when it can improve the quality of life for Knoxville's residents and strengthen our city as a whole.

Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas

When I was a manager in the hotel industry, l I had a mentor who told me to always be intentional and that stayed with me throughout my career. That perspective has shaped the way I lead and make decisions. I try to be intentional with my time, relationships, and the opportunities I have to influence positive change.

To advocate for myself earlier in life and to recognize my value, trust my voice, and be intentional about creating opportunities for my future. I would also remind myself to understand that the choice I made can have a lasting impact on the life I build.
