Currently on my nightstand would be: When Prayer Becomes Real by Kyle Strobel and John Coe. The central theme is about moving from a performative and predictive prayer life to one marked by honesty and genuine communion with God.

A seminary professor at Dallas would say "You teach what you know, but you reproduce what you are." It seems we ultimately imitate someone's character and habits more than their words.
